For so long, I tried to hide my alcohol addiction. It went on for so long, I didn’t know what life felt like without booze. Stress, anxiety, and depression can be tough to deal with, especially when we feel exhausted from work.
Sometimes we try to cope by distracting ourselves. Drinking, drugs, gambling, or losing ourselves in the internet are common ways that we can distract ourselves from our struggles. Unfortunately, these usually turn out to become bigger problems than the problems we’re trying to hide from.
